Northern Horizons Construction ("we", "us") is a construction contractor in Soldotna, Alaska. This page explains what we collect when you contact us or request an estimate, what we do with it, and who helps us handle it.
What we collect
When you send a request through this website, we collect what you enter: your name, email address, phone number, town, the type of work, and your description of the project. If you email or call us, we have what you send or tell us.
When you visit, our hosting provider records standard technical information, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested, to run the site and protect it.
How we use it
- To answer your request, visit the site, and prepare and send you an estimate.
- To do the work you hire us for, invoice it, and keep our business and tax records.
We do not sell, rent or trade your information, and we do not use it for anyone else's advertising.
How we use AI
We use an AI system (Claude, made by Anthropic) to help prepare and review estimates. For the first draft it reads only the work: the type of job, your town, your description, any measurements and your timing. It is not sent your name, email, phone number or address for that draft.
Afterwards, when Adam works on your estimate with the AI assistant, it can see your name and contact details along with the job, so it knows who the work is for.
Adam reviews and approves every estimate before it is sent to you. The AI does not set prices; those come from our own price list.
Who helps us handle your information
We share your information only with the service providers that run this website, our customer records and our email, and only for those purposes.

- Builds and operates our customer-records and estimating system on our behalf.
- Supabase
- Stores our customer records and estimates, in the United States.
- Vercel
- Hosts this website and counts visits (see Site analytics).
- Neon
- Keeps a copy of the name and contact details you send through this website’s form.
- Hetzner
- Runs the server for our estimating system, in Finland.
- Cloudflare
- Runs our domain and protects our estimate site from attacks.
- Anthropic
- Runs the AI that helps prepare estimates, as described above.
- Resend and Amazon Web Services
- Send our emails, including the notice that your request came in and your estimate.
- Our business email, and the fonts this site loads.
We may also disclose information if the law requires it.
Site analytics
We use Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights to count visits and see how fast pages load. They do not use cookies and do not identify you personally. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
How long we keep it
We keep project requests, estimates and job records for as long as we need them to respond to you, do the work, and keep our business and tax records. You can ask us to delete your information at any time, and we will, except for records the law requires us to keep.
Your choices
Email us to ask what we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it. We will answer within 30 days.
Children
Our website and services are for adults arranging construction work. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page.
