Sterling is about twelve minutes east of the shop on the Sterling Highway, and the same run covers Swanson River Road, the Moose River and the places off Skilak Lake Road.
Cabin and riverfront work out this way tends to come in a season rather than a week, and the drive is short enough to keep a punch list moving instead of leaving it for a return trip in the spring.
