Working in Kasilof
Kasilof is south of Soldotna where the Sterling Highway crosses the Kasilof River, out toward Cohoe and Kalifornsky Beach Road. Lots are large and wooded, well and septic is normal, and a lot of the housing was built by the people who live in it.
An owner built house is not a bad house, it is just a house with its own logic, and the finish work has to meet what is actually there rather than what a plan says. Openings out of square, framing on its own layout and additions that met the original at an angle are all normal in Kasilof and all workable.
